The Road Dog Garage

Not only publishing gets done at the Road Dog Publications location. I am also an enthusiastic rider who tries to do as much maintenance and repair work on my rides as possible. This is where the work gets done. On the right is my 1968 Honda CB350, which forced me to learn how to work on bikes if I was ever going to ride one. On the left is my 2011 Triumph Bonneville T100. Between the two bikes I ride about 50% on one and 50% on the other, often choosing the 350 for attending Vintage Japanese Motorycle Club events.

It's valve adjustment time for the Bonneville in the Road Dog garage. Front cam is out and I am awaiting a new shim for the inside left cyclinder exhaust valve. While I am at it I am also replacing spark plugs and the fuel filter. Upon removing the fuel pump assembly plate from the underside of the tank, it was obvious the old gasket was shot, so I made a phone call to Hap's, in Sarasota, who is sending a ne wone out along with the shim and O-ring.
