At 50, with her marriage having fallen apart, Jacqui leaves her home and family for India. There she buys a Royal Enfield and begins the adventure of her life. She wanders the world for seven years across India; Southeast Asia; Australia; New Zealand; and  South, Central and North America on a voyage of discovery, both of the lands she passes through and the people she meets, and perhaps more importantly, of herself. This is a story of marvelous travel, love, betrayal, reconciliation, self-discovery, and finally homecoming. As all good adventure travel books do, this is not simply a travel story but a story of the "adventure between the ears" of this intrepid, sometimes self-assured and sometimes not, brave and sometimes frightened, regretful but hopeful traveler.
